Carbon Neutral Products Offered by Evol
Some of Evol’s products have been certified carbon neutral by ClimeCo (formerly CarbonFund), meaning Evol offset some of the carbon dioxide emitted into the atmosphere to produce the relevant products. Evol partnered with ClimeCo to understand how to offset our Certified Carbon Neutral Products’ impact. Evol enlisted a third party to conduct a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which calculated the carbon footprint of certain products. For more information, see Evol’s Life Cycle Assessment. Using the findings from our Life Cycle Assessment, we were able to take steps to offset those emissions by supporting renewable wind energy and forest conservation. California Assembly Bill 1305 Supplemental Information
This disclosure supports statements made regarding certain Evol branded products that those products are "Certified Carbon Neutral" through the Carbonfree Product Certification Program, which program has been transitioned to ClimeCo. This disclosure is based on information available to Conagra Brands, Inc. as of the posting date and may not reflect new or updated information that became available after such date. Conagra Brands, Inc. will update this disclosure, including providing any missing information that was unavailable at the time of posting, annually in accordance with California Assembly Bill 1305.
As part of the Carbonfree Product Certification Program, Conagra commissioned a third-party life-cycle assessment completed by WAP Sustainability Consulting, LLC to measure the carbon footprint of its eight Certified Carbon Neutral frozen single-serve meals, and then offset the identified carbon footprint with investments in renewable wind energy and forest preservation projects verified by ClimeCo (or its predecessor Carbonfund.org).

Evol’s Food Sustainability Efforts Go Beyond Carbon Neutrality
Evol strives to offer sustainable frozen food and we are focused on reducing our carbon footprint. For example, we switched from 100% plastic bowls to paper-based bowls. All of our paperboard cartons are recyclable. Many Evol products are produced in a TRUE Zero Waste Certified Facility, meaning that our facilities have diverted an average of 90% or greater waste from landfills or other waste reductions in the last 12 months.
